Prepare a professional Instagram account
What you need before connecting an account and sending a real message.
Check the account first
DMFLOW works with an Instagram Business or Creator account. Connecting opens the official Meta login (Unified Login / Facebook Login for Business); your password never belongs in a DMFLOW form. Workspace access and an Instagram connection are separate things.
Connect in the studio
- Open Settings and the Instagram connection section.
- Sign in at Meta as an authorised administrator and share exactly one professional Instagram account. A Facebook Page is not required. Sharing no accounts or several accounts stops the connection; try again with only the intended account.
- Check the connection status when you return. The owner also verifies the webhook subscription.
You can prepare a draft earlier, but saving is not starting. Live sending also needs server permission and explicit activation of the individual rule.
If the connection expires
A token may expire or have no scheduled expiry; Meta can still revoke either type. Check the actual connection status and studio warnings. Reconnect and check permissions; never send a token in a support message. A preview or synthetic test does not establish real Instagram delivery.
